Check out the shop guys admiring their latest creation. This is a prototype Ruger Precision CarbonSix barrel. The carbon fiber replacement rifle barrel shaved nearly 2lbs off the factory original barrel. It went from a 4lb 40z barrel down to 2lbs 6ozs. We’ll be accepting orders soon, but we were excited to share the news.
This uses the same process as the rest of our carbon fiber rifle barrels and the same wonderful results. Lighter weight, more rigidity in the barrel and it looks fantastic. With the popularity of the Ruger Precision, we’re excited to soon offer a game changing precision barrel. The rifle is a beast already, so this is a very welcome weight savings.
